Help shape the future of the Show, with a £200 Steam Packet voucher up for grabs

The Royal Manx Agricultural Society has launched its most comprehensive public survey to date, inviting everyone who was part of the 2026 Royal Manx Agricultural Show to say what worked, what did not and what they want to see in future years.

The survey is open to everyone with a connection to the Show. Livestock and marquee exhibitors, Young Farmers, judges, stewards, volunteers, Society members, trade stand holders, food and drink concessions, sponsors, visitors, and residents and businesses near the showground. Questions are tailored to each respondent, so people are only asked about the parts of the Show they experienced. Most take between five and ten minutes to complete.

Feedback will be used to inform decisions on the schedule and class structure, judging arrangements, showground facilities, ticketing and pricing, communications and the overall visitor experience.

As a thank you, one respondent chosen at random will win a £200 Isle of Man Steam Packet Company voucher.

Carol Kennaugh, Secretary of the Royal Manx Agricultural Society, said: 

“The Royal Manx only happens because of the people who turn up, the exhibitors who prepare their stock for months, the volunteers who are on site before dawn, the traders, the sponsors and the thousands of visitors who come through the gates. This survey is our way of asking all of them the same question: what should we do next?”

The Society has committed to publishing a summary of the findings, together with the actions it plans to take, once the survey has closed.
