New Stamp Collection Celebrates Manx Farming and Supports Local Causes

Launched at the Southern District Agricultural Show, the Isle of Man has a brand new collection of stamps celebrating the Island’s rich agricultural heritage. This unique issue supports the ongoing work of the Manx National Farmers’ Union (MNFU), the Greener Grass MNFU Wellbeing scheme, and the Isle of Man Agricultural Benevolent Trust.

The stamps highlight the Island’s rich farming heritage and evolving practices, blending traditional, small-scale farming with modern, sustainable techniques. From ancient Manx Loaghtan sheep to grass-fed beef and free-range poultry, Manx farmers produce world class food while protecting the environment. This commitment has helped the Isle of Man become the world’s first Whole Nation Biosphere.

Visitors to both the Royal Manx Agricultural Show can see the stamps on display, take part in a fun stamp themed treasure hunt, and meet the talented artist behind the designs, Yolande Alberts.

MNFU General Secretary Sarah Comish said the agricultural shows play a vital role in showcasing local food and farming, while MNFU President Ean Parsons praised the high welfare standards and environmental care Manx farmers uphold.

The new stamp collection, issued on 25 July 2025, includes a set, First Day Cover, and Presentation Pack, an excellent way to support Manx farming and local wellbeing initiatives.
